AREI (former ADEC) was established in 1991 as a non-profit association, representing the interests of electronic component distributors in South Africa. Its prime objective is to contribute to the creation of an environment which encourages a dynamic growth of the electronics industry in South Africa.
The main aim of ASPEC is the development of a civilized market for electronic components, where participants are guided by long-term interests, understand patterns of the market and follow the principles of business ethics.
Among its activities there is the development and promotion of the Distributors Code.
Assodel is the institutional point of reference for electronics suppliers and, generally, for Italian electronics clusters (especially devoted to lighting and home automation). Established in 1984, the federation now has more than 200 members representing 90% of electronic components market in Italy.
The funding members include global top distributors and top Chinese local distributors, as well as some component suppliers. As China plays now a key role in world electronics supply chain, CEDA represents the contact window with global distribution industry.
Now in its 42nd year, ECSN seeks to encourage co-operation throughout the electronic components supply network to the benefit of all. It’s a “member managed, not-for-profit” trade association linking near market research, manufacturers, channel partners, systems integrators and end of life of electronic components…
ECIA connects all facets of the electronic components industry: manufacturers, authorized distributors and independent field sales rep working together as a stronger voice for the entire authorized supply chain. ECIA members represent companies of every size and every sector of the electronic components industry.
ELCINA was established in 1967 when India’s Electronics industry was still in its infancy. Since then, ELCINA has been well known as an interactive forum for electronics and IT manufacturers. The association has been networking with national and international technical institutions and business promotion bodies to further the interests of its members.
The FBDi e.V. (Professional Association of Component Distribution) was founded in 2003. Today, it is an established player in the German association community representing a large portion of distributors of electronic components with operations in Germany.
Its focus is on the German distribution market for electronic components.
It was established in 2010 when two former associations decided to merge into one strong association.The association has regular meetings for the members and handles different issues of common interest: statistics about the market; exhibitions and conferences; information about regulations; terms of trade; contacts with gov authorities and organisations.
SPDEI was founded in 1972 to promote and support Electronics Industry distributors.
Since then the association has managed relationships between its members and provide them with appropriate information about the electronic market.
